Louise Foor is a young Belgian soprano. In the 2024-2025 season, she will make her debut at the Metz Opera as Lisette in Puccini's "La Rondine" and at the Opera of la Monnaie/De Munt as Frasquita in Bizet's "Carmen". In the 2023-2024 season, she was a member of the Opera Studio at the Bayerische Staatsoper in Munich, and made her debut as Leïla in Bizet's "Les Pêcheurs de perles" in Bordeaux. In 2022, Louise Foor made her debuts at the "Théatre de La Monnaie/De Munt", "Théatre du Capitole" in Toulouse, "Grand Théâtre de Luxembourg" and "Grand Théâtre de Genève". In 2020, she made her debut at the "Opéra Royal de Wallonie-Liège" in Belgium and was an artist in residence at the Queen Elisabeth Chapel in Waterloo. In September 2020, she won First Prize in the "Virgilijus Noreika" international singing competition in Vilnius (Lithuania). Louise Foor graduated in 2017 with a Bachelor's degree in Opera singing from "IMEP" (Namur,Belgium) and won the same year the Young Artist Prize at the "Hariclea Darclée" international competition in Romania. In 2018, she took part in several international competitions in Germany (Immling), Austria (Graz) and Italy (Portofino) in which she won numerous prizes. In 2023, she obtained her Master's degree in the class of Anna Samuil from the "Hochschule für Musik Hanns Eisler" (Berlin, Germany).
